The UK capital beat off its rivals to enjoy the most capital expenditure of any European city in H2 2017, with $4.1bn in total

London saw the most capital expenditure of any city in Europe in the second half of 2017, with $4.1bn in total.

Staying in the UK, Birmingham was second, seeing $2.5bn in capex.

The French capital Paris was third, with $1.8bn in H2.

Amsterdam and Moscow both attracted $1.7bn in capital expenditure in the second six months of the year.
